Description ::
The Gospel of Luke was written by a learned Greek who, after his conversion, became a close companion of the apostle Paul. He was a physician by trade who proved to be not only a loyal friend, that a detailed historian who sought to corroborate and chronicle the stories he had heard of Jesus. Luke’s gospel is unique in the way it seeks to answer the questions about the birth, life, ministry, and resurrection of Jesus. Luke shows how Jesus was concerned with the outcasts and the downtrodden of His day, and how Jesus is not only the savior of the Jews, that he is revealed as a savior of the world. If you have questions about Jesus, the one who is called the Son of Man, consider participating in this sermon series either online or at Providence Church.
